About Us

Established in September 2014, Universitas Pelita Harapan’s Center for International Trade and Investment (CITI) aims to promote outward-looking, liberal trade and investment policies to enhance Indonesia’s economic competitiveness. With support from the Swiss SECO and the World Trade Institute, CITI undertook various academic initiatives between 2014–2017, including research on topics like Aid for Trade, mineral export restrictions, food security, and CEPA sustainability chapters. Outreach efforts featured seminars by leading experts such as Iman Pambagyo and Meg Kinnear, while course development focused on updating international trade law curricula with slides, infographics, exercises, and case studies.
