On April 26, 2017, Universitas Pelita Harapan Centre for International Trade and Investment (UPH-CITI) hosted a public seminar titled ‘Trade and the Rule of Law in the Trump Era.’ The event featured a distinguished panel of speakers, including Prof. Mari Elka Pangestu, Ph.D., Indonesian Trade Minister (2004-2011) and Professor of International Economics at the University of Indonesia; John Riady, B.A., MBA, J.D., Executive Dean of the Faculty of Law at UPH; Prof. Michael Ewing Chow, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore; Paolo Vergano, Partner at FratiniVergano — European Lawyers; and Michelle Limenta, Ph.D., Director of UPH-CITI. Following the seminar, Michelle Limenta, Ph.D., introduced her book, ‘WTO Retaliation: Effectiveness and Purposes.’
