On 16 March 2016, Universitas Pelita Harapan Center for International Trade & Investment (UPH-CITI), alongside the WTO Chair Programme, jointly hosted a seminar titled “The Future is Now: Digital Trade”. The distinguished guest speaker, James Lockett, Vice President and Head of Trade Facilitation and Market Access at Huawei Technologies, highlighted the evolving landscape of digital trade, addressing trade, customs, and investment issues in the digital economy. The seminar highlighted the opportunities and regulatory challenges emerging from digital transformation in global commerce.
